The mass manufacturing of standardized and non eco-friendly products is frequently used in the production of furniture. Trio addresses this issue by innovating a design around three sustainable qualities. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. 
 
Trios cycle of material manufacturing is easy. The legs and seat are CNC cut from a piece of pine. The cushion is 100% recycled foam and fabric, and the centered connection is constructed of epoxy resin mixed with the pine offcuts from the CNC manufacturing, and moulded in a PLA print that is grinded down after use. 
 
Designed initially for cafes, Trio can be used in a variety of different environments and introduce more sustainable products in our daily lives and surroundings. I hope Trio inspires other designers to introduce sustainability into the manufacturing of their work as it is our obligation to focus more on eco friendly means of production.
