Tea has never been a popular takeaway option from cafes. Through many interviews with customers and baristas we found that “Tea takes too long to brew” and “there is nowhere to put the teabag after the tea has brewed”.

 

T2GO addresses this situation and aims to make tea a more accessible beverage option for customers on the go. T2GO is constructed of two lids. One to capture the teabag, and one for drinking out of.

 

T2GO takes the hassle away from takeaway tea as once the beverage is brewed to the customers liking, they can pull on the string to have the teabag stored away in the lid for later disposal.

Designed initially as a disposable tea lid I believe T2GO has the potential to be an eco friendly product by being designed specifically for reusable takeaway coffee and tea cups.
