Scura is a modern table lamp that offers a unique and customizable art piece for any user. The design focuses on creating a sense of artwork that is projected through light.

The idea came from the original camera obscura’s that would make images with a small hole. Through this inspiration Scura was designed as a lamp for tenants who live in lofts or apartments and are unable to display artwork as it may damage the property.

The tilt interaction that allows light to turn on and off allows the user to surprise their friends and family without the obvious use of a switch. Made with modern technology including 3D printing and laser cutting the Scura lamp fits into any loft or apartment of the 21st century.
